Front Panel LEDs

The LED functionality is described in the User Guide of your WeOS5 product. Here the information on LED functionality of all WeOS5 products is summarised. Note that your product may not have all LED types listed here.

DC1 OFF Product has no power
GREEN Power OK on DC1
RED Power failure on DC1
DC2 See DC1 above (replace DC1 with DC2 where applicable)
DC/AC1 See DC1 above (replace DC1 with DC/AC1 where applicable)
DC OFF Product has no power
GREEN Power OK on DC1 and DC2
RED Power failure on DC1 or DC2
ON OFF Unit has no power
GREEN All OK, no alarm condition
RED Alarm condition, or until product has started up.
TX/FX OFF No link
GREEN Link established
GREEN FLASH Data traffic indication
YELLOW Port alarm, or port is set in blocking state by link redundancy protocol.
YELLOW FLASH (All TX/FX flashing yellow) Location indicator (“Here I am”). Activated by specific Web/CLI setting.
RSTP OFF RSTP disabled
GREEN RSTP enabled
BLINK Unit elected as RSTP/STP root switch
FRNT OFF FRNT disabled
GREEN FRNT OK
RED FRNT error
BLINK Unit configured as FRNT focal point
RING OFF All ring protocols are disabled
GREEN All ring protocol are OK
GREEN BLINK All ring protocol are OK. A ring protocol acts as master/focal-point/root.
RED A ring protocol has error
RED BLINK A ring protocol has error. A ring protocol acts as master/focal-point/root.
PoE OFF No PoE output
GREEN PoE output active
GREEN FLASH Error or negotiating power output
L1/L2 OFF Relays in bypass mode
GREEN Relays connected to unit (no bypass)
USR1 Unused. Configurable in future release.
USR2 Unused. Configurable in future release.

The ‘ON’ LED constitutes a configurable summary alarm. The port LEDs (‘TX/FX’) indicate alarm for link status error if link alarm has been configured for the port. See Alarm Configuration for more information on summary alarm and link alarm.

When ‘location indicator’ is activated, all port LEDs flash yellow.
